Eco-Friendly Converted Gasoline Lawnmower

Convert your old gasoline powered lawnmower and save on $$ and the environment!

That’s what Michael Egan did. He converted his 25 year old, 12 horsepower, gasoline powered tractor into a 36 volt electric riding mower! Not only is it noticeably quieter, but it also saves on gas, maintenance, spark plugs, oil changes zero fuel cost and zero carbon emissions. He now charges the tractor overnight, giving him a 90 minute run of his tractor. That’s about enough to mow his entire lawn.

Egan spent about $1100 on the conversion, which included the purchase of an electric motor and three deep cycle batteries. Not only did he save $5000 which would be what it would cost him to purchase a brand new electric tractor equivalent to what he was currently running, but he also did his bit for the environment.

Lawn mowers are legendary for spewing emissions. Unlike other gas-powered vehicles, lawn mowers are not bound by the strict codes the others are about gas emissions. The emissions, coupled with the noise pollution are the majority polluters for the suburban environments.

Discover how the life span and performance of deep cycle batteries can be optimized with Desulfation technology. In the process reducing the frequency of battery changes and lessening the global impact of lead polution in the environment.
